Vacancy available: we are hiring a powder coater in Barnstable County, Massachusetts. You will be based at a fabrication and coating plant. Requirements: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms Your main tasks: • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time 3+ years on the tools preferred. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
