Turning centre operator — Bichi

Join our team: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Bichi, Kano State. You will work in a precision engineering workshop. On a typical shift you will adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet. Ideal candidate: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Overtime paid at a premium rate.
