Join our team: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Lamb County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Check walls for plumb and level as you go Requirements: • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel Full-time with occasional weekends. $3,250 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
