Vacancy available: we are hiring a solid plasterer in Bath County, Virginia. The job is at a plastering and dry lining contractor. Requirements: • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic Your main tasks: • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits.
