We are recruiting: we are hiring a baker in Blanco County, Texas. The job is in a hotel pastry kitchen. Requirements: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen The role involves: • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
