Now hiring: we are hiring a sausage maker in Wagoner County, Oklahoma. You will work in a meat processing plant. On a typical shift you will vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts. Ideal candidate: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Full-time, day shift.
