Immediate opening: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Eket, Akwa Ibom State. You will work at a container port and shipping yard. Ideal candidate: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts You will fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control.
