System formwork carpenter — Wrexham

Vacancy available: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Wrexham, Wales. The job is at a reinforced concrete building site. Ideal candidate: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules The role involves check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. £2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
