Heavy equipment operator (dozer) — St. Helens

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in St. Helens, England. The job is on a dam or embankment job. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections You will follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear.
