What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • 2+ years experience working as a butcher On a typical shift you will sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
