Meat trimmer — Bosque County

Now hiring: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Bosque County, Texas. You will work in a meat processing plant. Your main tasks: • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts You should have: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
