Your main tasks: • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights Requirements: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
