Great opportunity: we are hiring a sausage maker in Morgan County, Illinois. You will be based at a wholesale meat market. The role involves: • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Season and marinate meat on request What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Pay around $180 per day, based on your experience.
