Paint and prep technician — Majuli

The role involves compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch. You should have: • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Good eye for colour matching and blending On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
