Lathe operator • Ipokia, Ogun State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe operator in Ipokia, Ogun State. The job is at an auto-parts workshop. Day to day you will key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels. You should have: • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
