Now hiring: we are hiring a blocklayer in Reading, England. The role involves: • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge What we are looking for: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Rotating shifts.
