Slinger signaller — Borgu

Great opportunity: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Borgu, Niger State. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. Requirements: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Day to day you will set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit. 5+ years on the tools preferred. ₦9,000 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
