Trowel-trade bricklayer — Ussa

Vacancy available: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Ussa, Taraba State. You will work on a new-build development. What we are looking for: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Day-to-day duties: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around ₦4,500 per day, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
