Ironing operator • Edwards County, Texas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an ironing operator in Edwards County, Texas. You will be based in a garment export house. The role involves set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; give each garment a final press before packing. You should have: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Six days a week, one day off.
