Crane operator wanted in Champaign County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane operator in Champaign County, Illinois. The job is in a steel fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity What we are looking for: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Able to read load charts and lifting plans $7,250 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
