Great opportunity: sheet metal press operator (Scotland)

Now hiring: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Moray, Scotland. You will be based in a forging and pressing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Pay around £110 per day, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
