Plant operator (dozer) — Monroe County

Join our team: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Monroe County, Indiana. The job is at an open-cast mine. On a typical shift you will carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin. You should have: • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
