Bread and bun maker • Concho County, Texas

Now hiring: we are hiring a bread and bun maker in Concho County, Texas. You will be based at a busy bakery. The role involves: • Score the top of loaves before baking • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards What we are looking for: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
