Great opportunity: we are hiring a groundsman in Clay County, Illinois. You will work at a landscaping company. Your main tasks: • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads Requirements: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Part-time with flexible hours. Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
