Excavator operator — Devon

Immediate opening: we are hiring an excavator operator in Devon, England. The job is at a plant hire yard. The role involves: • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Check for underground cables and services before digging Requirements: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings 6+ years on the tools preferred.
