Site carpenter — Bureau County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a site carpenter in Bureau County, Illinois. You will be based on a commercial fit-out site. On the job you will handle: • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish You should have: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers 2+ years on the tools preferred.
