Foundry operative • Badagry, Lagos State

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry operative in Badagry, Lagos State. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. Your main tasks: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring Requirements: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
