Furnace operator — Magumeri

Great opportunity: we are hiring a furnace operator in Magumeri, Borno State. The role involves carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant. You should have: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry We offer ₦185,000 per month plus benefits.
