Building site helper — Akko

Join our team: we are hiring a building site helper in Akko, Gombe State. Your main tasks: • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days What we are looking for: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Physically fit and comfortable working at height At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. ₦165,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
