Restoration bricklayer • Hamilton County, Ohio

Vacancy available: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Hamilton County, Ohio. You will be based on a busy housing site. Day to day you will installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish. What we are looking for: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Full-time with occasional weekends. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
