Counter butcher — Mangan

Immediate opening: we are hiring a counter butcher in Mangan, Sikkim. You will work in a supermarket meat department. Day-to-day duties: • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone What we are looking for: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
