Garment presser — Ijebu Ode

Now hiring: we are hiring a garment presser in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State. What we are looking for: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases On a typical shift you will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics.
