Vacancy available: we are hiring a cake decorator in McLennan County, Texas. The role involves: • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel You should have: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Pay around $170 per day, based on your experience.
