Slinger signaller • Giade, Bauchi State

Great opportunity: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Giade, Bauchi State. You will be based in a steel fabrication yard. Day to day you will guide loads through tight openings into their final position; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Six days a week, one day off.
