Rigging foreman • Lorain County, Ohio

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Lorain County, Ohio. The job is in a steel fabrication yard. Day-to-day duties: • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Six days a week, one day off.
