Abattoir worker — Washington County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Washington County, Texas. You will stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
