Urgent requirement: head butcher (Michigan)

Join our team: we are hiring a head butcher in Oscoda County, Michigan. You will be based in a supermarket meat department. Ideal candidate: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Day to day you will debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; season and marinate meat on request. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. We offer $6,250 per project plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
