Foundry operative — Njaba

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry operative in Njaba, Imo State. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. The role involves check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand. You should have: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
