Ideal candidate: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required The role involves mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; season and marinate meat on request; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
