The role involves carry out leak inspections and patch repairs; lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling; erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding; nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses; torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs. Ideal candidate: • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls Six days a week, one day off.
