Requirements: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Day to day you will feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area.
