Ironing operator — Golaghat

Great opportunity: we are hiring an ironing operator in Golaghat, Assam. You will work at a dry cleaner's. Ideally you have a keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases; able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets; able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine. The role involves: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments Full-time with occasional weekends.
