Dogger — Trinity County

Now hiring: we are hiring a dogger in Trinity County, Texas. You will be based at a container port. The role involves rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; read lift plans and method statements before starting; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
