Now hiring: we are hiring a protective coatings painter in Scott County, Kansas. You will be based at a busy decorating firm. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for standing, bending and reaching all day • Able to mix and colour-match paints accurately • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers You will strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns; lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture; work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers; measure up and work out paint and material quantities; apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller; sand and fill walls before applying primer.
