Immediate opening: we are hiring a butcher in Epe, Lagos State. You will work at a halal meat counter. Requirements: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler On a typical shift you will break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
