Crane rigger • Ibi, Taraba State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane rigger in Ibi, Taraba State. The job is at a container port. Requirements: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket The role involves inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. ₦110,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
