Horizontal milling machine operator — Stark County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Stark County, Illinois. You will work at a fabrication and machining plant. On a typical shift you will hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters. You should have: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work Part-time with flexible hours.
