Great opportunity: we are hiring a short order cook in Starr County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO What we are looking for: • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen Pay around $2,700 per month, based on your experience.
