The role involves: • Follow food hygiene and allergen-handling rules • Raise the bill on the POS and settle cash and card payments • Greet guests, seat them and present the menu • Lay table covers with cutlery, napkins, glassware and crockery • Punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket) • Coordinate order timing with the kitchen and the bar You should have: • Basic numeracy for handling cash, bills and change • Basic food hygiene and FSSAI awareness • Smart, well-groomed appearance and a clean uniform Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
