Now hiring: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Haskell County, Texas. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. The role involves carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter. Ideal candidate: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
